English And Me

 Hello, my name is Nizar Adiwidya people usually call me Nizar, and I study at Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. So, In this first post, I want to tell you all about my experience learning English. 

 I have loved playing video games since childhood, but sometimes I get confused about what the game characters say and that makes me not understand the storyline of the game. Because I was confused, I tried to take my aunt dictionary and I tried to find the words spoken by the characters in the game. I remember the first word I looked up in the dictionary was "trader". After that i keep looking for words i don't understand in the dictionary. It made me get good grades on my English test at school.

 I had stopped learning English because I was bored. But, when I try to play video games online, it lets me meet players from all over the world. I want to talk to players from other countries but I never use English to talk to other people. It makes me motivated to learn English again. I can make many friends from all over the world and that's a great thing. Now I have to study English even harder, so that I can be useful to society by spreading my knowledge.
